Full-grain Ethiopian leather
Highland cowhide and sheepskin, cut and stitched by hand in our Addis Ababa workshop. It is leather that softens and develops a patina, so your customers keep what they buy.

Chiban is a women-owned workshop that trains and employs former street youth. Every piece you stock carries that story, and it is a true one you can tell your customers.

How ordering works.
Import duty and VAT on arrival are paid by the buyer.

Browse the collections and add pieces to your bag, or simply list the ones you want yourself.
Send an order request
Use the order request form with the products, colours and quantities you have in mind. Nothing is charged on this website.
We confirm the details
We reply within 2 working days to confirm price, shipping cost and delivery time. Tell us your quantities and timeline and we’ll confirm pricing and delivery.
Pay by invoice
You receive an invoice from Chiban Leather by PayPal and pay by card or PayPal account. Bank transfer is available for larger orders.
Custom and corporate work.
Looking for a piece developed to your brief, in your choice of leather and colour, or gifts for a team or client? The workshop takes custom and bring-your-own-design commissions.
